Two days before the match against Le Havre, PSG will have to deal with three major absences. And for Ousmane Dembélé, a strong decision could be made in the coming hours.
PSG is coming into the match against Le Havre on Saturday evening with a weakened squad. Three absences are already confirmed: Hakimi, Doué, and Nuno Mendes will not be present. And a fourth case is causing concern for the staff: Ousmane Dembélé, who has just returned to individual training.
Having suffered a calf injury against Bayern, the French winger is regaining good sensations. According to RMC Sport, he is expected to be in the squad for Tottenham on Wednesday. However, for the match against Le Havre, the club is being extremely cautious: Friday will be decisive, and Paris does not rule out a radical decision… namely, not taking any risks.
Dembélé is getting closer, but PSG is taking its time with the others.
Desiré Doué is following a more standard recovery timeline after his thigh injury. PSG hopes to have him back before the end of December, possibly for the Trophée des Champions on January 8.
Achraf Hakimi is continuing his rehabilitation in an attempt to be ready by December 21 for the Africa Cup of Nations. It’s an ambitious goal, but not impossible.
A weakened PSG but still a leader, a confident Le Havre: on Saturday, the match could be more open than expected.
