PSG vs Rennes: 5 absentees including Chevalier left out!

The PSG squad will be significantly weakened for the home match against Rennes on Saturday night. Five players will be missing despite having had a full week of rest.

The team will be without several key figures. Achraf Hakimi and Désiré Doué, still in the “recovery phase,” will only return at the end of 2025, even though Doué resumed group training on Thursday morning. Nuno Mendes also remains unavailable as he continues his rehabilitation after a thigh injury suffered against Tottenham.

The confirmed bad news concerns Lucas Chevalier: a “victim of an ankle trauma during the match against Monaco,” he remains under treatment and will be replaced by Matvey Safonov for the first time this season.

Chevalier is still in pain. Finally, the surprise of the day: Lucas Beraldo is ruled out due to “strain in the left calf,” an injury sustained in training despite not having played recently.
