PSG vs OM: The Probable Lineups

Just a few hours before the 2025 Trophée des Champions, tension is already rising around the Clasico. This Thursday, Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille will face off at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait (kick-off at 7 p.m. French time, broadcast on Ligue1+) to claim the first trophy of the season.

According to L’Équipe, both coaches are expected to field teams very close to their best available elevens.

Two Attacking Setups for a High-Stakes Clash

PSG are set to line up in a 4-3-3 with a spectacular attacking trio made up of Kvaratskhelia, Dembélé and Doué. In midfield, Ruiz, Vitinha and Neves would provide a technical and mobile unit. In defense, Mendes and Zaïre-Emery would operate on the flanks, Pacho and Marquinhos in central defense, while Chevalier would start in goal. PSG’s absentees include Lee, Ndjantou and Safonov (injured), as well as Hakimi and Mbaye (AFCON).

On the other side, OM would opt for an ambitious 3-4-3 with Paixão, Aubameyang and Greenwood leading the attack. The midfield would be built around Emerson, Kondogbia, Højbjerg and Weah, with a three-man defense composed of Medina, Balerdi and Pavard in front of Rulli.
