Le PSG announces 6 absentees against Lille!

This Friday evening (9 PM, broadcast on Ligue1+), Paris Saint-Germain will host Lille at the Parc des Princes for the 18th matchday of Ligue 1 2025-2026. On the eve of this clash between the 2nd and 4th place teams in the league, Luis Enrique revealed the Parisian squad, with several notable absences.

PSG will have to cope without João Neves, who is suffering from a muscle strain and is required to continue individual training. This absence comes at a bad time, especially since the duration of his unavailability is not yet known. Quentin Ndjantou, Kang-In Lee, and Matvey Safonov are also unavailable, still undergoing treatment or following an adapted program. Additionally, Achraf Hakimi and Mbaye are held back with their national teams for the CAN final.

In total, six players will miss this important match.

Despite this, the squad remains sufficiently deep to allow Luis Enrique to field a competitive team, although some choices will be closely scrutinized for this highly anticipated match, especially since the first leg ended in a frustrating draw in Lille (1-1).
