Luis Enrique outcast wants to return and establish himself at PSG

Signed by Paris Saint-Germain in January 2024, Gabriel Moscardo has still not worn the Paris shirt in an official match. After a loan spell at Corinthians, followed by time at Reims and now Braga, the Brazilian midfielder continues to develop away from Paris, but with a very clear objective in mind: to establish himself at PSG.

Gabriel Moscardo still aims to play for PSG. Two years after his signing, and without a single minute in a Paris jersey, the young midfielder continues to believe in his chances.

Moscardo determined to prove himself in Paris

In an interview with Brazilian outlet Terra, the 20-year-old player highlighted his close relationship with Paris sporting director Luis Campos and the regular support he has received since joining the club’s long-term project.

A return to Paris is already on his mind. “I can say he’s the person at PSG who is closest to me. He often sends me messages and talks with me, he’s almost like a father figure. The discussion about a possible return to Paris Saint-Germain and about being used in the squad is not something he addresses directly with me,” Moscardo explained.

Under contract until 2028, the Brazilian is clear about his goal: “Of course, I want to return to Paris Saint-Germain one day, hopefully as early as next season. He even came to Braga to visit me and watch matches. He’s someone who is present, who shows interest in my future at PSG, believes in me and in my football, and that makes me very happy.”
