Paris Saint-Germain has begun its contract renewal operation. Even before what promises to be a busy summer transfer window, the club wants to secure several key players in the squad.
According to Le Parisien, discussions are progressing well with Bradley Barcola. An agreement is reportedly very close for the French winger, who has become an important player in the Parisian rotation. PSG wants to lock down his future quickly.
Uncertain futures for Dembélé and Mayulu
The club is also working on extending the contract of Fabián Ruiz, whose performances have convinced the management to continue the partnership.
The situation is very different for Ousmane Dembélé. No negotiations have started yet with the French attacker. Even more concerning, his agent was reportedly recently seen in Manchester to hold talks with Manchester City.
This has fueled speculation about the player’s future, as he could already be exploring other options. Recent reports suggested that Dembélé has been demanding higher wages, and PSG does not intend to break its salary ceiling to keep its Ballon d’Or winner. The standoff could therefore continue, while the situation of young prospect Senny Mayulu also appears complicated, with no agreement reached despite several offers from the club, which may now consider selling him next summer.
