Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a very close eye on Éli Junior Kroupi, but the deal is becoming increasingly difficult to complete. The young French striker is still highly appreciated by the capital club, which is looking to strengthen its attacking department with young and promising profiles.
Éli Junior Kroupi dreams of PSG, but he may have to find another dream. According to PSGInside-Actus, the player remains attracted by the Parisian project and would still make PSG his priority. That is an important point for Paris, which therefore keeps an advantage in the player’s mind. But this agreement in principle is still not enough to unlock the operation.
Bournemouth’s Asking Price Blocks PSG Move for Kroupi
The main obstacle comes from Bournemouth. The English club is proving very demanding and is reportedly asking for a transfer fee considered too high by the Parisian directors: €92 million. That stance has clearly slowed down talks, to the point where negotiations are now said to be at a standstill.
PSG are currently refusing to meet Bournemouth’s financial demands. The Parisian management does not want to overpay for the deal, even though Kroupi’s profile remains appreciated internally. The situation is also attracting other clubs, with Tottenham and Crystal Palace reportedly monitoring developments closely and ready to make a move if an opening appears in the coming days.
Paris therefore remains in wait-and-see mode. If no common ground is found quickly, PSG could decide to put this track aside and accelerate on other attacking options. The Kroupi case is far from over, but it has clearly become more complicated.
