Paris Saint-Germain will be turning pink throughout October. As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the annual campaign raising awareness about breast cancer, the club’s various sporting sections will wear a specially designed shirt for the occasion. The men’s football team, PSG Women, handball and even judo will all take part.
PSG is bringing all of its sporting sections together around the same cause. Throughout October, the French champions will highlight the fight against breast cancer through a special campaign and a dedicated Breast Cancer Awareness Month shirt.
PSG vs Lyon on October 25 also included
The shirt will make its first appearance with PSG Handball for their match against Toulouse on Saturday, October 10 at 7 p.m. One week later, PSG Women will also join the initiative, wearing the special kit when they host OL Lyonnes on Saturday, October 17 at 9 p.m.
PSG Judo will also support the campaign on Wednesday, October 21, wearing the shirt during a training session. The initiative allows the Parisian club to extend its commitment beyond football and involve several of its sporting sections.
Finally, PSG’s men’s team will take part during a Ligue 1 fixture. The Parisians will wear the special shirt against Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday, October 25 at 8:45 p.m. at the Parc des Princes. From handball and football to judo, PSG’s different sections will therefore come together under the same colors and for the same cause throughout October.
