PSG are gradually getting back into competitive action. After a day off on Monday, Luis Enrique’s players will take part in several training sessions at the PSG Campus before hosting Le Mans at the Parc des Princes on Saturday evening for Matchday 6 of Ligue 1.
Paris will ease into the week. The Paris Saint-Germain players were given Monday, October 5 off before returning to the PSG Campus on Tuesday. Luis Enrique has scheduled three consecutive training sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, all starting at 5 p.m. and taking place entirely behind closed doors.
Luis Enrique to Face the Media on Friday
Media duties will really begin on Friday, when Luis Enrique holds his press conference at 1 p.m. at the PSG Campus. The Paris coach is expected to provide an update on his squad ahead of Ligue 1’s return. The players will then train at 5 p.m., with the first 15 minutes of the session open to the media.
Attention will then turn to the Parc des Princes, where PSG host Le Mans on Saturday, October 10 at 8:45 p.m. in Ligue 1. After the game, Luis Enrique will take part in the traditional post-match press conference, while players will be available in the mixed zone.
There will be little time to rest after the match, as the PSG squad will return to the Campus on Sunday morning for a closed-door training session at 11:30 a.m. PSG’s full schedule is therefore: Monday off; training at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; Luis Enrique’s press conference at 1 p.m. followed by training at 5 p.m. on Friday; PSG vs Le Mans at 8:45 p.m. on Saturday; and training at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
