Former Paris Saint-Germain player during the early QSI era, Ezequiel Lavezzi, was reportedly admitted to the hospital in Uruguay on Wednesday. The ex-Argentinian international forward was said to have been stabbed during an altercation, sustaining injuries to the abdomen.

According to information from South American press, notably Clarin, the former Argentinian forward Ezequiel Lavezzi was admitted to a hospital in Punta del Este, Uruguay. Reports indicate that he fell victim to a knife attack, with a « small penetrating wound to the abdomen as well as a clavicle fracture. »
