Playing at 1 PM (French Time) is not a common occurrence for PSG, and they will face a tough opponent in Brest, who have been performing well in Ligue 1. Luis Enrique is aware of the challenges this presents.
PSG will have to get up early to face Brest at 1 PM, an unusual kickoff time for the Parisians. Luis Enrique acknowledges that every match can be tricky, especially at such an unconventional time.
He mentioned, “Playing away from home at 1 PM is always difficult. Brest is a team that hasn’t lost at home, defends well, and crosses a lot; they know what they’re doing. They are a very challenging opponent for us, particularly after a motivating Champions League match.”
Coming off a Champions League game and with another one on the horizon, will the players be motivated?
“That’s the challenge we face. Thankfully, I won’t complain about coaching international players. Three points against Marseille, a high-level team, are just as important as three points against a lower-ranked team. All matches are worth the same points. It’s my job, particularly to manage the lineup with the most motivated and prepared players.”
