After PSG’s dominant 4–0 win over Atlético Madrid in their Club World Cup opener, captain Marquinhos praised his team’s mentality.
“Even after winning the Champions League, we stayed hungry and focused,” he told reporters. “You never know how a match will unfold, especially against a tough opponent, but the team showed its strength again.”
The Brazilian leader urged his teammates to stay grounded: “We need to keep working, stay humble, run, defend, attack… stick to the plan.”
His message is clear: PSG isn’t satisfied yet — they want to win their first-ever Club World Cup.
