On October 1st, PSG travel to Barcelona for their first huge Champions League test of the season. But the clash could already be missing some star names.
Both sides are dealing with injuries — two each. For Paris, Ousmane Dembélé (hamstring, six weeks out) and Désiré Doué are almost certain to miss out, a major blow for Luis Enrique.
On the Barça side, things aren’t much better. Gavi, who has suffered a setback with his knee, remains doubtful despite a possible return in three weeks, while Alejandro Balde (thigh) is also in serious doubt for the tie. To make matters worse, Frenkie De Jong returned from international duty with a minor knock.
With just three weeks to go, the outlook is worrying: PSG and Barça could head into this blockbuster showdown significantly weakened.
