After slipping behind Marseille last weekend, PSG are looking to bounce back following their 7-2 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

Surprise move from Luis Enrique: Ousmane Dembélé starts on the bench, just four days after the trip to Germany. In attack, Senny Mayulu will lead the line, supported by Barcola and Kvaratskhelia. In defence, Marquinhos remains out, with Zabarnyi and Pacho forming the central pairing.

PSG XI: Chevalier – Hakimi, Zabarnyi, Pacho, Hernandez – Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Lee – Kvaratskhelia, Mayulu, Barcola.
Brest XI: Majecki – Lala, Diaz, Coulibaly, Locko – Chotard, Dina-Ebimbe, Magnetti – Mboup, Ajorque, Del Castillo.

The referee: Watch out for the cards!

The game will be officiated by Jérémie Pignard (38), assisted by Florian Gonçalves and Ludovic Reyes. Brendan Roffet will serve as the fourth official, while Hamid Guenaoui and Christian Guillard will be on VAR duty.

And beware — Pignard is not known for leniency:

  • 4.05 yellow cards per match (vs 3.53 league average)
  • 0.18 direct reds, slightly above the norm
  • 0.12 double yellows per game
  • 0.40 penalties awarded per match (Ligue 1 average: 0.34)

In short, it could be a fiery afternoon — on the pitch and in the referee’s notebook.
