Brest vs PSG: early clues on the lineup

PSG is gradually regaining all its strengths. After the returns of Marquinhos and Dembélé in the Champions League, it is now Noham Kamara who rejoins the squad. The young 18-year-old defender was not injured but was on duty with the France U20 team, which he helped reach the semifinals of the World Cup.

A welcome return for Luis Enrique, who will need fresh blood in a grueling end to the year. Kamara is not yet a starter, but he has already proven that he can step up. An ideal reinforcement in a defensive sector that is often called upon.

Ruiz and Neves, still in the infirmary?

Only Fabian Ruiz and João Neves are still missing this week. Will they return to the squad? The two midfielders are continuing their recovery phase and could return soon, but they will likely not make the trip to Brest. For the rest, the squad is reshaping: Barcola, Doué, Marquinhos, Kvaratskhelia, and Dembélé are all back.

A perfect timing before a busy November, marked by the clash against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Brest hopes for a weakened PSG

On the Breton side, Éric Roy is not deluding himself… while keeping a hint of hope. “Beating PSG would be great. What we plan is to watch them on TV, hoping they rotate a bit against us,” he joked on RMC.

He added humorously: “But Luis (Enrique) respects me a lot, so every time he puts out his best team! For us, it’s a bonus match. We have nothing to lose.”

Between a PSG that is firing on all cylinders and a Brest that hopes for some rotation, the duel appears unbalanced on paper. But in a heated Francis-Le Blé, any dip in Parisian form could reignite the suspense. A weakened PSG… or another demonstration? Answers will come on Saturday.

Possible PSG lineup: Chevalier – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho – Hernandez – Zaïre Emery, Lee, Doué – Kvara, Mayulu, Doué or Barcola
