Brest vs PSG: Hakimi and Vitinha steal the show, Player Ratings from the Press

A comfortable 3–0 win at Brest, and a solid performance across the board — but the post-match ratings weren’t quite unanimous. Le Parisien and L’Équipe agreed on the stars of the night, yet not on everyone else.

According to Le Parisien, most Parisians delivered: Hakimi (8) — author of a brilliant brace — and Vitinha (7), who bossed the midfield, top the charts. Kvaratskhelia (6.5) and Zaïre-Emery (6.5) kept their consistency, while Chevalier (6) impressed with a clean sheet and calm performance.

However, L’Équipe was in a stricter mood. The sports daily also praised Hakimi (8) and Vitinha (7), but handed out tougher grades elsewhere: Zabarnyi (4) received a surprisingly low mark despite a composed defensive display, while Lee Kang-In (4) was penalised for a handball that gifted Brest a penalty. Pacho (5) and Hernandez (5) were rated average — solid but unspectacular.

Le Parisien ratings:
Barcola (5) – Mayulu (6) – Kvaratskhelia (6.5)
Lee (5) – Vitinha (7) – Zaïre-Emery (6.5)
Hernandez (5.5) – Pacho (6) – Zabarnyi (6) – Hakimi (8)
Chevalier (6)

L’Équipe ratings:
Barcola (4) – Mayulu (6) – Kvaratskhelia (6)
Lee (4) – Vitinha (7) – Zaïre-Emery (6)
Hernandez (5) – Pacho (5) – Zabarnyi (4) – Hakimi (8)
Chevalier (6)

In the end, one thing everyone agrees on: Hakimi and Vitinha were the heartbeat of the PSG machine. Even after a dominant victory, Paris never escapes the microscope — standards remain sky-high.
