Paris Saint-Germain will have a chance to recharge at the start of the week. The capital club has unveiled its media schedule for August 17 to 23, 2026, with Luis Enrique’s squad granted two full days off on Monday and Tuesday.
Defeat, yes, but rest as well… After playing RC Lens in the Trophée des Champions on Sunday, the Paris players will not return to the PSG Campus until Wednesday. Training will resume at 5 p.m. behind closed doors.
Four Training Sessions Before PSG vs Rennes
PSG will continue their preparations on Thursday and Friday with two sessions scheduled for 11:15 a.m., both closed to the media. A final training session will take place on Saturday morning at 11 a.m., with the first 15 minutes open to the press. Luis Enrique will then hold a press conference at the PSG Campus at 1 p.m., where he is expected to provide an update on his squad and preparations for the opening league match.
PSG will officially begin their Ligue 1 season on Sunday, August 23 at 8:45 p.m. at the Parc des Princes against Stade Rennais on Matchday 1. After two days of recovery, the Parisians will therefore have four training sessions to prepare for their first league fixture of the campaign.
