During the labor court hearing opposing Kylian Mbappé and PSG, one of the striker’s lawyers, Me Cassereau, claimed that young Ethan Mbappé also paid the price for the standoff between his brother and the Parisian club.
According to the defense, PSG showed a harsh face toward players who wanted to leave. Ethan was used as an example to support this claim. Me Cassereau stated that the youngest Mbappé, just starting his career, had been found crying in the locker room, the victim of mistreatment.
“Ethan was found in tears in the locker room by Kylian,” she insisted, denouncing a climate comparable to harassment, which supports the total compensation claim of more than 260 million euros.
The defense also mentioned the existence of a digital operation aimed at targeting Kylian Mbappé and turning him into the “public enemy” of supporters, as previously revealed by a Mediapart investigation. Another element, according to them, in what they describe as the club’s hostile strategy.
“Ethan was found in tears in the locker room by Kylian.”
PSG strongly rejected the accusations. In a statement, the Parisian management recalled that it had “done everything possible for more than a year” to find an amicable solution, supported by several institutions. The club denounced an aggressive communication campaign launched by Mbappé’s camp and regretted that the striker had “continually attacked the club,” including through the current legal action.
This new episode shows that the rift between Mbappé and PSG goes far beyond the pitch. The conflict has turned into something much bigger — a confrontation where image, legal battles, and emotions are all intertwined.
