Ex PSG Player Mocks Mbappé After He Finally Gets His Driver’s License

“Finally.” With that single word, accompanied by a few teasing emojis, Layvin Kurzawa reacted on social media to the latest milestone concerning his former teammate.

Having just joined Persib Bandung, the former Paris Saint-Germain full-back couldn’t resist poking fun at Kylian Mbappé, with whom he once shared the PSG dressing room. It was a light-hearted jab after the French superstar finally obtained his driver’s license.

Mbappé Gets His License in Madrid

At 27, Mbappé had been living life in the fast lane between Real Madrid, the French national team, business ventures and public commitments… but without a driving license. That has now changed: he successfully obtained it in Madrid.

Unlike a license issued in France, the Spanish permit is valid across the entire European Union and does not need to be exchanged to be recognized in France. Encouraged by his mother, Fayza Lamari, who wanted him to gain more independence and enjoy moments alone without a driver or security, the French captain finally took the step.

A simple administrative formality for Mbappé—yet symbolic enough to spark affectionate teasing from a former PSG teammate.
