Stade Rennais have stepped up their search after the dismissal of Habib Beye. The leading option points to Franck Haise. Contacted by Canal+, the former RC Lens and OGC Nice manager confirmed his interest in the position.
PSG will face Rennes amid uncertainty next weekend. Habib Beye is no longer the Breton club’s head coach as of a few hours ago. Rennes are now looking for his successor, with Franck Haise expected to arrive. Available since December, he is open to a quick return to Ligue 1 at a club he knows well from his time as a youth developer.
Interim Solution Before PSG Clash
However, timing is an issue. Currently on vacation abroad, Haise will not be on the bench for the showdown against Paris Saint-Germain on Friday.
Against Paris, the interim role will therefore be handled internally by a transitional staff. Haise is getting closer to the job, but the match comes too soon for him to take charge.
