Hit on his left ankle after a heavy challenge from Luis Díaz, Achraf Hakimi has been going through a difficult spell on the sidelines, bad timing for both PSG and Morocco. But things are finally looking up for the defender.
Forced into several weeks of rest, Hakimi opted for a conservative treatment to avoid surgery and keep his chances alive for the upcoming AFCON on home soil. Still, he refuses to sit still.
Already working indoors, the right-back is grinding through bike sessions, strength work and recovery exercises, with his ankle still in a protective boot. The footage shared on his social media shows him focused, determined and fully committed.
Hakimi working hard to Come Back ASAP
The message is obvious: Hakimi wants to come back fast, strong, and without sacrificing his AFCON dream. For PSG, who rely heavily on his energy down the right flank, the signs are encouraging, his rehab is progressing well and his mindset is top-class.
In his latest video, the Moroccan international shows noticeable progress: one leg still in a support boot… but the other already back in action.
