PSG will have to cope with two significant absences in Brest, but hope is on the horizon. The two midfielders will be available… soon.
PSG travels to Brest this Saturday (5 PM, beIN SPORTS) with a nearly complete team… nearly. According to Le Parisien, João Neves and Fabian Ruiz are still expected to be unavailable.
Neves is almost ready, Ruiz is still training separately. The 21-year-old Portuguese has resumed collective training this Friday, which is a very encouraging sign. However, Fabian Ruiz continues to train alone. Injured in the groin against Barcelona in early October, the Spaniard is not yet ready for competition.
Imminent return
The two midfielders are expected to rejoin the squad soon. For Neves, a return as early as next week is not ruled out. For Ruiz, it will likely be a bit later.
Good news for Luis Enrique: barring any last-minute issues, PSG could finally be at full strength before the November storm and the clash against Bayern Munich.
