Since that unforgettable night in May 2025, when Doué scored a decisive brace in the Champions League final against Inter Milan, his career has rocketed to a new level. “He scored in a Champions League final, he’s grown massively since Rennes and keeps progressing at Paris,” said Vieira.
“He’s been through difficult periods but never gave up. Lamine Yamal isn’t eligible this year, so for me, Doué will win. He’s exceptional — one of the best among the best,” the French icon added.
