After PSG’s 3–3 draw against Strasbourg, Lucas Hernandez delivered a candid assessment on Ligue 1+. The Parisian defender pointed to the early goal conceded at the start of the second half as a turning point in the match.
PSG showed quality with the ball, but lacked defensive sharpness for nearly 80 minutes. A missed opportunity, as Paris could have left with all three points against a determined Strasbourg side. “In the second half, we can’t concede that goal. Coming back from two goals down is never easy,” Hernandez admitted.
Despite the frustration, he praised the squad’s mentality: “Our mindset was impeccable. We wanted to win this match.”
But his warning was clear: PSG must harden up. “If we want to fight for the title, we have to be more aggressive. We’re conceding goals we shouldn’t concede.”
Paris remains top of the table, just one point ahead of Strasbourg. Next step: recovery… before a crucial European clash against Bayer Leverkusen.
