Monaco beat PSG 1–0 thanks to a 69th-minute strike from Minamino, finishing off a brilliant long pass from Salisu and a perfect cross from Golovin. Here are the player ratings for both teams.
ASM’s intensity and organisation caused Paris problems from start to finish. Chevalier kept his team alive with several key saves before suffering a brutal tackle from Camara — a challenge that could easily (and probably should) have earned a red card.
PSG, lacking inspiration, struggled technically despite a few chances from Kvaratskhelia, Mayulu and Ruiz. Monaco ended the game with ten men after Kehrer’s harsh red card but held on during a tense stoppage time. Paris never found the equaliser, even on their final corner in the 97th minute.
PSG lineup:
Chevalier – Zaïre-Emery, Marquinhos, Pacho, Hernandez – Neves, Vitinha, Ruiz (Ramos 83’) – Lee (Dembélé 64’), Mayulu (Ndjantou 64’), Kvaratskhelia (Mbaye 76’)
Subs: Safonov, Zabarnyi, Beraldo, Boly, Ndjantou, Mbaye, Barcola, Dembélé, Ramos
Monaco lineup:
