The Classique is approaching and the pressure is rising: PSG are back in training with the obligation to win to stay top of Ligue 1, while OM are adjusting their squad between returns and absences ahead of Sunday’s showdown.
The Classique takes place this Sunday. Training resumed this Thursday at the Campus to begin preparations for the match against OM. Two more training sessions are scheduled before kickoff.
Squad concerns on both sides before the big clash
Paris will need a victory to remain league leaders, with Lens close behind and refusing to ease off. Achraf Hakimi is suspended. Quentin Ndjantou has returned to group training and could be back. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Fabian Ruiz remain doubtful as they are still undergoing treatment and recovery work. PSG could therefore be missing four players for the Classique.
OM are also weakened. There are no suspensions, but Amir Murillo has been ruled out and will not be involved. Nayef Aguerd is doubtful with an adductor issue. Emerson Palmieri is back in the rotation. The winter signings are available, and some could start in this high-stakes Classique.
