PSG thought they would travel to Lorient with an almost complete squad… and then everything changed. Between a last-minute withdrawal, a forced rest for Hakimi, and young players ready to step up, Luis Enrique will have to improvise for this tricky away match.
Just as they were recovering from the match against Brest, Paris is already back in action. But this Tuesday, a twist: Fabián Ruiz, who was announced fit, will ultimately not make the trip. The Spaniard is training with the group… but remains out. This is a real setback as PSG had a squad “99.9% ready.”
On the bright side, João Neves is present, along with young players Kamara, Ndjantou, and David Boly (16 years old), who has been called up to the first team again. However, Achraf Hakimi will take a few days off after a heavy schedule of matches. He is expected to return on Thursday.
PSG: two absentees, one doubt, and some surprises…
Luis Enrique remains cautious: training does not guarantee anything. He has already ruled out players who returned the day before from injury, and managing minutes has become a priority. The coach promises “balance” and warns: mandatory rotation in Lorient, in a match he describes as “difficult.”
On the right side, the coach might innovate: Zaïre-Emery as a wing-back, Marquinhos shifted if needed… and why not the first minutes for young Boly? Doué could still start on the bench, and Nuno Mendes might be rested.
