Lucas Hernandez has forgotten nothing about 2018. Eight years after lifting the World Cup, the PSG defender is still celebrating the triumph in his own way: a monumental Kong now stands proudly at his Paris residence.
It is impossible to walk past his home without looking up. The French international has acquired a giant sculpture by Richard Orlinski: a bright red gorilla, marked with the number 21, wearing the France jersey and raising the World Cup trophy high above its head.

In a video shared on Sunday, he revealed behind-the-scenes footage of the installation. A crane, handlers, and millimeter precision were required as the artwork was carefully placed in the center of the courtyard, surrounded by luxury cars like a true centerpiece.
Lucas Hernandez was a key figure in 2018. During the World Cup in Russia, he locked down the left flank with confidence, missing only a few minutes against Denmark. He delivered two crucial assists — against Argentina and later in the final against Croatia — cementing his vital role in France’s historic run.
