Despite Luis Enrique’s impressive results since joining PSG, the Spanish coach continues to divide opinion. Between sporting admiration and lingering doubts, debates over his loyalty and long-term future show no signs of fading. And Daniel Riolo is among the harshest critics.
Here we go again with the Enrique bashing. On RMC, Riolo reignited the controversy, questioning how long Luis Enrique will truly stay in Paris, arguing that the coach remains “100% Barça” despite his many successes with PSG.
“I’m much tougher on those who idolize him than on him. But I don’t see the human qualities he supposedly has. He’s 100% Barça. He’s someone who’s always on the move.”
Rumors of a PSG Exit Grow
While the club offers him full support and a contract running until 2027, some observers wonder whether he can genuinely commit long-term in such a demanding environment. And although rumors suggest a potential return to Catalonia, Luis Enrique continues to show total commitment in Paris, even aiming for a second consecutive Champions League title.
But the noise coming from Spain isn’t helping. According to the Iberian press, Luis Enrique has already informed PSG that he will not extend his contract beyond 2027. One more season and a half, then a return to Barça’s bench? Riolo certainly seems to think so.
