Mbappé Wants His Money, Sends Bailiffs to PSG

The dispute between PSG and Kylian Mbappé is continuing. Following the club’s recent conviction, the striker has taken action by appointing bailiffs to recover the sums he believes are still owed to him.

The objective is to secure payment of the remaining balance of his paid leave. Of the €60.9 million already paid by PSG, around €5.9 million is reportedly still outstanding. A seizure of the club’s bank accounts is not ruled out if no quick agreement is reached. The club says that discussions are ongoing with the player’s representatives to determine the payment terms, according to L’Équipe.

Court Orders Nearly €61 Million Payment

This move comes within a legal framework that has already been decided. The Paris labor court has ordered PSG to pay nearly €61 million to Mbappé for unpaid wages, bonuses, and leave at the end of his contract in 2024. The ruling includes provisional enforcement.

In detail, the amounts include €36,666,680 gross corresponding to the third installment of his signing bonus, €3,666,666 in related paid leave, €17,250,000 in salary arrears for April, May, and June 2024, and €1,725,000 in associated paid leave. Added to this are €1,500,000 in ethics bonuses for the same period and €150,000 gross in corresponding paid leave.

However, the court rejected the request to reclassify the fixed-term contracts as a permanent contract.
