Paris Saint-Germain are out of patience. With injuries piling up early in the season, the club has made a clear decision: three signings in January — one in each line. The goal is obvious: reinforce the squad before the crucial phase of the campaign, especially with the Champions League approaching full speed.
PSG are moving. Deprived of key players such as Dembélé, Ruiz, Neves and Marquinhos, Luis Enrique wants to avoid a shortage of fresh legs when it matters most. The message has been sent to Doha: this winter, reinforcements are coming.
While Paris are targeting a defender, a midfielder and a forward, one name sits at the top of the list.
Akliouche, Luis Enrique’s No. 1 Target
The priority is Maghnes Akliouche. The AS Monaco playmaker has completely won over Luis Enrique. Technical, versatile, and trained in Ligue 1, he matches the profile PSG want. The player himself is reportedly ready to make the leap to Paris.
Monaco, however, are in no rush. The club will not sell without securing a replacement and are demanding a hefty fee — close to €80 million. A massive price, but PSG are not backing down.
Monaco Hold the Key
The situation is clear:
– The player is interested.
– Luis Enrique wants him.
– PSG are prepared to pay (to a certain point).
Only one barrier remains: Monaco must agree to open negotiations in January. If they do, the transfer could ignite very quickly.
With a crowded injury list and a brutal schedule ahead, PSG are preparing for a fierce winter market. Akliouche is the priority.
And when Paris decides… it doesn’t let go.
