Ousmane Dembélé is raring to return to action — perhaps a bit too much. According to L’Équipe, the PSG winger’s impatience is raising eyebrows within the club’s medical and coaching staff.
The 27-year-old, currently recovering from a left quadriceps injury suffered in the Nations League semi-final vs Spain, is deep into rehab. But during a recent session, tensions reportedly flared between Dembélé and a staff member, who warned him about pushing too hard on sprints. Frustrated by his lengthy layoff, the French international is struggling with the wait — and his eagerness could backfire.
Enrique Staying Cautious
Luis Enrique remains diplomatic. “He’s getting better, but we must stay calm,” the coach said after the Botafogo match. Translation: no risks — even if the player is desperate to be back on the pitch.
Having already suffered a minor setback against Arsenal in April, PSG is opting for the cautious route. Dembélé’s drive is clear — but the club is thinking long-term, not short thrills. One false move, and he could be sidelined again.
