It’s all about recovery now. Hit with a right hamstring injury, close to a grade-3 lesion but not requiring surgery, Désiré Doué has begun a carefully controlled rehabilitation program, with PSG determined to eliminate any risk.
After two muscular alerts in quick succession, Paris is opting for maximum caution. No shortcuts, no gambles: the club wants a solid, lasting comeback with zero chance of a setback.
Next stop: Doha. The young midfielder will continue his rehab at Aspetar, Qatar’s world-renowned sports medicine center. The goal: speed up healing, fine-tune the muscle work, and bring him back to full power. PSG knows the facility well, and trusts it to fast-track a clean recovery.
No return before January
The consequence is clear: Doué won’t return before January. The staff has set an estimated six-to-eight-week absence, meaning he won’t play again before the December break. At best, PSG is targeting a clean comeback right after the winter pause, possibly for the home match against Paris FC on January 4.
The mission is simple: rebuild one of the squad’s most explosive players without skipping a single step.
