After PSG’s 5–2 victory against Chelsea in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, Samir Nasri made a bold prediction on the Canal Champions Club set: Paris is already qualified even before the second leg.
Samir Nasri is rarely gentle with PSG, but this time he had nothing negative to say. The return match is still to be played, yet according to him, the Parisians have done the hardest part and already have one foot — or even both — in the quarterfinals. “Paris is qualified, Paris is qualified,” he repeated confidently on the show.
Nasri doubts Chelsea’s ability to overturn the deficit
Nasri does not believe Chelsea can overturn a three-goal deficit in the second leg at Stamford Bridge. The former French international also believes the Blues’ defense will struggle significantly against the Parisian attack.
“This Chelsea defense will concede goals at Stamford Bridge against PSG’s attack,” he assured. On PSG’s side, however, the message remains more cautious. The Red and Blue refuse to consider anything as secured and intend to approach the return leg next Tuesday with the same seriousness to definitively confirm their qualification.
