PSG have undergone several changes in recent weeks, and the restructuring is continuing. Omar Allel’s departure is particularly significant as he had been considered a potential successor to Pierre Reynaud as head of the recruitment department.

Another change in PSG’s recruitment structure

The Parisian recruitment department has already experienced several changes in recent months. Dominique Flamant was not retained, while Paulo Gonçalves has been on sick leave for several months. Allel’s departure therefore further highlights the extensive reorganization taking place within the club’s youth development and scouting structure.

To compensate, PSG have recently strengthened their scouting team with two new arrivals: Sigamary Diarra, formerly of Valenciennes, and Thierno Diarra, who joins from Amiens.

The Parisian club is therefore continuing to reshape its organization around youth recruitment, with several major changes taking place within a relatively short period of time.
