In PSG’s 4–0 rout of Atlético Madrid, Vitinha had the chance to bag a brace in stoppage time.
Instead, the Portuguese midfielder handed the penalty to Kang-in Lee — a selfless gesture he explained simply to DAZN.
“Today, I was the designated taker. But I’m not a striker, I don’t need to score like a striker,” Vitinha said post-match. “When we’re leading 3–0 or 4–0, it’s good to give it to an attacker who needs that goal. That was the case for Kang-in.”
A small goal for Lee, but a big moment of unity in an increasingly tight-knit PSG squad.
