In the wake of PSG’s historic Champions League triumph, club president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi took a moment to thank all those who contributed to the club’s long journey to European glory — even some controversial former stars.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Al-Khelaïfi paid tribute to a wide range of players who helped shape PSG’s rise, including icons from the early QSI era like Javier Pastore, Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Edinson Cavani, and Ángel Di María. But it was his next statement that turned heads:
“And I’m going to say something very important: even Neymar, Messi, and Kylian Mbappé. We will never forget what they did for the club. They helped build this success.”
