PSG: First Details of the 2027/2028 Home Kit… All Blue, Without Red?

The first details regarding Paris Saint-Germain’s home shirt for the 2027/2028 season are beginning to emerge. According to Footy Headlines, Nike is reportedly planning to use a brighter shade of blue for the French champions’ next home kit.

The new PSG jersey is expected to feature “Bright Blue” as its main color. This vibrant shade was already used on the club’s 2025/2026 home shirt and would give the new kit a noticeably brighter appearance than some of PSG’s more traditional dark-blue designs.

A Hechter-Inspired PSG Kit Without the Iconic Red?

Nike is reportedly planning to combine the Bright Blue base with “Dark Obsidian,” a very dark navy shade, as well as white accents. The overall design could therefore retain elements of PSG’s traditional identity while offering a more modern interpretation of the club’s famous colors.

The biggest surprise, however, could be the absence of red. Early information suggests that PSG’s 2027/2028 home shirt may feature a Hechter-inspired central stripe without the iconic red section traditionally associated with the design. If confirmed, it would represent a significant departure from one of the club’s most recognizable visual symbols.

At this stage, these are only the first leaked details and the final design has yet to be revealed. More information about the pattern, sponsors and exact placement of the navy and white elements should emerge in the coming months as Nike finalizes PSG’s 2027/2028 home kit.
