Javier Pastore has found his new path. Retired from the pitch since 2023, the former PSG attacking midfielder (2011–2018) has reinvented himself within the world of football, this time behind the scenes.
Javier Pastore is changing hats. The former Paris Saint-Germain player remains involved in football, but is taking an unexpected turn in his post-playing career.
From PSG Icon to Player Agent
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Argentine has co-founded the player agency The Elegant Game. The project is already off to a strong start, as Enzo Fernandez, the 24-year-old Chelsea and Argentina midfielder, has joined the new agency.
It is a swift and ambitious transition for the former idol of the Parc des Princes, who is now positioning himself as a key figure in player representation.
A surprising move for someone who has been a PSG ambassador for several seasons. Quiet and even shy by nature, few imagined him becoming a player agent. And what next? Could Javier Pastore one day become a club executive, or even president of PSG? As a protégé of Nasser al-Khelaïfi, the thought surely crosses his mind.
