Paris Saint-Germain are continuing their work in the transfer market and making progress in their pursuit of Laciné Megnan-Pavé. The young Montpellier player is firmly on the capital club’s radar, with PSG continuing negotiations with MHSC in an attempt to reach a final agreement.
One final signing before the end of the transfer window? Talks between PSG and Montpellier are progressing. Paris already have an agreement with the player over a five-year contract, a sign that the deal is now at an advanced stage.
A Transfer Worth More Than €10 Million
According to Foot Mercato, the transfer fee is expected to exceed €10 million. PSG therefore appear ready to invest a significant sum in Megnan-Pavé, who is regarded as a player with major potential and plenty of room to develop over the coming seasons.
One question remains unresolved: his immediate future. PSG still have to decide whether to integrate him directly into their first-team squad or loan him straight back to Montpellier.
The second option would allow Laciné Megnan-Pavé to spend another season in familiar surroundings, with more playing time to continue his development before eventually joining Paris. Further talks between the two clubs should help clarify this point.
