PSG Needs Major New Signings: “They will certainly make adjustments”

As January approaches, Laure Boulleau has provided a clear diagnosis of the urgent needs of PSG. On the set of Canal Football Club, the former Parisian highlighted several obvious shortcomings in Luis Enrique’s squad.

Laure Boulleau announces it: PSG will recruit this winter. For her, there is no doubt: Paris must recruit. “They will certainly make adjustments,” she asserts, convinced that the club cannot remain inactive in the face of current deficiencies.

The first identified area of concern: the right-back position. With Achraf Hakimi isolated in his lane, the situation is becoming untenable. “There is no backup. In that position, there is really a lack,” insists Boulleau, who calls for a genuine market opportunity.

Without Mendes, without a left-back

She also points to the left flank: Nuno Mendes must absolutely be secured. “Lucas Hernandez is more of a central player,” she reminds. In clear terms: if Mendes gets injured again, Paris will find itself without a reliable solution.

A blunt observation… and a signal sent to Luis Campos: this winter, PSG will have to open the checkbook.
