PSG pushes back return date by two days!

PSG

Paris Saint-Germain has made a decisive move: the squad will now return to training on Wednesday, August 6 at 10:30 a.m., giving players an extra 48 hours of rest before launching preparations for the new season.

Originally scheduled to resume on August 4, the return was delayed due to logistical issues — namely, late departures from the U.S. following the Club World Cup. PSG officially confirmed the new date, stating:
“Training will resume at 10:30 a.m. next Wednesday. The Rouge et Bleu will settle back into their routine before beginning daily sessions.”

One week to prepare for Tottenham

With the UEFA Super Cup clash against Tottenham set for August 13, PSG now faces a race against the clock. The tight schedule leaves no room for friendlies, meaning players will go straight into intensive training.

To ensure no one returns out of shape, the coaching staff handed out individual fitness plans to players during their holidays. The goal: be ready to attack the 2025–26 campaign at full speed — a season that promises to be just as ambitious as the last.
