Paris also has injuries to deal with. Luis Enrique, Ousmane Dembélé, and Désiré Doué could all miss the Barcelona clash due to respective fitness issues.

But in Paris, the focus is also on the venue. According to Sport, PSG is pushing hard for the October 1 showdown to be played at Camp Nou. The problem? The stadium is still under renovation. UEFA has reportedly asked Barça to stage a Liga match there first before hosting PSG.

Catalan outlet RAC1 reports that Phase 1B of the works could be completed within ten days. If permits are granted, the PSG match might become Camp Nou’s big reopening. Meanwhile, Barça is racing to get Gavi fit — he’ll miss Valencia on September 14 and probably Newcastle on September 18, but his target is crystal clear: being ready to face PSG.
