PSG Staff Dissed By French National Team Doctor

The Deschamps–Riolo trial offered an unexpected scene: Dr. Franck Le Gall not only spoke about the Benzema case… he harshly criticized PSG and its medical staff.

As we know, the relationship between PSG and the French national team is not in good shape. After the issues with Dembélé and Doué, as well as the use of Barcola, tensions are high between the two sides. This is not new. Dr. Franck Le Gall has not only good things to say about the Aspetar clinic, which PSG often highlights for treating its injured players. Dembélé spent a few days there, as did Doué.

According to L’Équipe, the doctor of the Blues spoke candidly: “Chalabi (the director of Aspetar, former PSG doctor) is not really recognized in the medical field. He is not a doctor; he is a clinic director.” The atmosphere is tense.

“We are being dismantled by PSG”

Le Gall outright stated that he does not trust the Aspetar structure, which is regularly promoted by Paris. And he did not stop there. He criticized PSG for its management of Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé in the national team: “We are being dismantled by PSG when it shouldn’t be the case. No excuses, no reports. Double standards.”

An explosive settling of scores… which will clearly not improve relations between the Blues and the Parisian club.
