Just days after celebrating his Champions League triumph with PSG, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s holiday turned into a nightmare.
The 24-year-old Georgian winger was vacationing near Cannes when, according to Georgian media—confirmed by L’Équipe—his residence was broken into. Several valuable pieces of jewelry were stolen while he was away.
He wasn’t the only PSG player targeted. The day after the Champions League final, burglars attempted to break into Fabian Ruiz’s home in western Paris. Two minors were caught in the act and arrested. While the property was ransacked, nothing was stolen and no one was harmed.
Sadly, these incidents add to a growing list of PSG players who’ve been targeted in recent years: Thiago Silva, Di Maria, Marquinhos, Letellier… Celebrations or not, caution remains essential.
