PSG is once again dipping into the market for young talent, and this time the name on their radar is Said El Mala, the rising star of FC Cologne. According to Bild, the Parisian scouting department has been closely monitoring the 20-year-old winger for several weeks.
Valued at around €20 million, El Mala has become one of the most promising profiles in Germany, catching the eye of several major European clubs — including PSG.
Winter Move Unlikely, Summer Transfer Possible
While a transfer in January is highly unlikely — Cologne does not want to lose him mid-season — a move next summer already appears to be in the pipeline. Interest is strong, and PSG is positioning itself early.
PSG’s Strategy: Youth and Potential
This pursuit confirms PSG’s recruitment philosophy: investing in young, high-potential players who can grow within the Paris project. After targeting players like Barcola, Mayulu, and Doué, Said El Mala could be the next big future bet.
PSG is building tomorrow’s stars — and El Mala may soon be one of them.
