PSG have released their medical update ahead of Saturday evening’s Ligue 1 clash against Le Mans (8:45 PM) at the Parc des Princes. While Senny Mayulu and Alessandro Longoni remain unavailable, Luis Enrique has received two pieces of good news: Ferran Torres and Fabián Ruiz are fit to play. However, Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes have been given additional rest.
Paris Saint-Germain return to Ligue 1 action this Saturday with a depleted squad. In their medical update published on Friday, the club confirmed that Alessandro Longoni is continuing individual gym sessions, while Senny Mayulu will remain under medical treatment over the coming days. Neither player is expected to feature against Le Mans.
Ferran Torres and Fabián Ruiz Available for PSG
Luis Enrique can nevertheless welcome back two important players. Ferran Torres, who left the Spain national team camp due to discomfort in his left ankle, has resumed normal training and will be available against Le Mans. Fabián Ruiz is also back in action. The Spanish midfielder, who recently became a father, has already returned to training and is ready for selection.
However, Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes will miss the match. Both key players have been granted several additional days of rest to protect their fitness. This decision comes as PSG prepare for a particularly demanding schedule, with a Champions League trip to Manchester City coming up on Tuesday.
Luis Enrique is therefore expected to rotate his squad against Le Mans. Lucas Digne could replace Nuno Mendes at left-back, while the returns of Ferran Torres and Fabián Ruiz provide additional options for the Spanish coach. PSG will be without four players on Saturday but welcome back two important members of the squad ahead of a crucial run of fixtures.
