Could Luis Enrique hand a debut to another academy gem against Lens? With PSG missing two key attacking weapons, the coach might be tempted to try something new.
With Dembélé (hamstring) and Doué (calf) both sidelined, Enrique will need to adjust ahead of Sunday’s clash with RC Lens. The attacking trio should feature Ramos, Kvaratskhelia, and Barcola, but the bench looks worryingly thin.
Mbaye, Mayulu… and now Ndjantou
This could open the door for Quentin Ndjantou, 18, who only recently signed his first pro deal. A versatile forward, comfortable both wide and through the middle, he has already impressed Enrique in training.
Having already launched Mbaye and Mayulu last season, the Spanish coach might now give another youngster his chance. We’ll know Saturday if Ndjantou makes the squad — and maybe Sunday, whether he sets foot on the Parc des Princes pitch for the very first time.
