PSG vs Monaco: Predicted Lineup According to the Press

Paris Saint-Germain host AS Monaco this Friday at the Parc des Princes (8:45 pm) for Matchday 25 of Ligue 1. Ahead of this clash, French media outlets are trying to predict the starting eleven that Luis Enrique will field.

The Parisian club will nevertheless have to deal with several absences. João Neves continues his treatment, Fabián Ruiz is still following an adapted individual training program, while Quentin Ndjantou remains under a medical recovery protocol.

Midfield uncertainty ahead of Monaco clash

In goal, Matvey Safonov is expected to start according to both newspapers. The defense should also remain unchanged with Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes.

The attacking trio is not a subject of debate either. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Bradley Barcola and Désiré Doué are all predicted to start by both Le Parisien and L’Équipe.

The only doubt concerns the midfield. Le Parisien sees Kang-in Lee alongside Vitinha and Warren Zaïre-Emery, while L’Équipe places Zaïre-Emery slightly deeper with Lee playing a bit further forward. In both scenarios, Luis Enrique is expected to rely on a very attacking 4-3-3 formation in order to strengthen PSG’s grip on first place against Monaco.
