PSG’s Kvaratskhelia “doesn’t care about Ligue 1,” a serious accusation

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored his first goal of the season in Ligue 1 with PSG on Sunday night against Lyon. But that was not enough for RMC consultant Walid Acherchour.

Kvara is no longer Kvaradonna. Arriving last January to everyone’s surprise, the former Napoli player seems to be lagging behind after several matches without real substitutes. The Georgian is struggling and showing signs of fatigue. The injuries to Doué and Dembélé do not help. Luis Enrique relies heavily on his player to lead the Parisian attack.

But on RMC, consultant Walid Acherchour is not convinced that it is just fatigue. “I really like the player and his mentality. But I feel like we are getting the version 2 of the player from Napoli. He started very strong… Fatigue? He didn’t play much at the beginning of last season. I feel like he doesn’t care about Ligue 1.”

Does Kvara not care about Ligue 1?

“He was playing on the left. I would like to open the Kvaratskhelia file. Aside from his goal, what he is doing is insufficient. Against Nice, he was caught off guard. We need to have a minimum of expectations. We do it with Barcola, but we need to do it with Kvara. He can play two or three matches to show a bit more.”
